EDITORIAL POLICY

Philologia Classica is an interdisciplinary scholarly journal published by the Saint Petersburg State University Press. The journal is devoted to research in the broad field of classical studies and welcomes original contributions related to classical philology and the ancient world.

The journal publishes academic studies in areas including classical literature, Ancient Greek and Latin language studies, textual criticism, papyrology, epigraphy, Indo-European linguistics, classical philosophy, religion, history of classical art, archaeology, and material culture. Research addressing the influence and reception of Greco-Roman civilization in medieval, Byzantine, and modern European traditions is also encouraged, particularly when grounded in classical sources and philological analysis.
